Mike Novogratz, founder of the cryptocurrency financial services giant Galaxy Digital, recently stated in an interview that we will see the approval of a Bitcoin spot ETF by January 10th.
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is currently reviewing over 10 applications for Bitcoin spot ETFs, with many analysts predicting that they will be officially approved in January of next year. According to the latest report from Cryptoslate, Mike Novogratz expressed his expectation of the approval of a spot Bitcoin ETF in early January. In a report published this week, analysts Vetle Lunde and Vice President Anders Helseth from the cryptocurrency analysis company K33 Research also stated their expectation of the approval of a spot Bitcoin ETF in early January.
The reason why Mike predicts January 10th may be related to the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF, a Bitcoin spot ETF submitted by Ark Investment Management and 21Shares. This application must be reviewed by the SEC by the final deadline of January 10th, 2024.
