The well-known social platform X (formerly Twitter) experienced a large-scale outage starting this afternoon, with users continuously reporting that they were unable to view post content on both their computers and mobile devices. According to real-time data from the disconnection tracking website Downdetector, there have been as many as 150,000 error reports in the past hour.

The current extent of the impact on X and the cause of the error are still uncertain, but users can currently only see their own or other users’ account information while browsing, and all related posts have disappeared.

14:00 Update: X Twitter seems to have returned to normal, but neither the official nor Musk have come forward to explain the cause of the incident.
