The inscription project INJS on the Layer1 public chain Injective was temporarily suspended the day before yesterday due to issues with the funds. However, yesterday the official response was released in a tweet, stating that refunds are gradually being processed and the inscription minting will be resumed on the 21st.

Injective, a Layer1 public chain focused on DeFi (decentralized finance), was originally scheduled to start the minting of the inscription INJS this week on the 19th. However, the official warning “Do not mint INJS” was suddenly issued without prior notice, stating that the project party is not honest and will transfer the fees for minting the inscription to an unknown wallet.
Regarding this incident, DODO asked the official of Injective and received their response for clarification on the 20th: To be precise, the project party did not “transfer fees,” but they (INJS) set a “mint cost,” so there will be fees deposited into their wallet.
The project party later stated that they will complete all refunds within 24 hours and plan to have a “free fair launch.”
INJS: The first batch of refunds has been completed.
Indeed, on the evening of the 20th, at around 8:20 PM, INJS posted on X (formerly Twitter) stating that they have completed the first batch of refunds at block height 54,889,682. They will collect the second and final batch of refunds from block height 54,889,683 to 54,952,165 and will stop processing any further refund requests starting from block height 54,952,166.
INJS: Inscription minting will resume at 10 PM on the 21st.
At the same time, the INJS official added that the inscription minting will resume at 10 PM Taiwan time today (21st).
