Today, Justin Sun initiated a vote on X to discuss whether the “Coconut Chicken” (CCC) meme token should be deployed on the TRON blockchain. So far, 7,945 people have participated in the vote, with 66.4% expressing support and 33.6% expressing opposition.
Just one hour before the launch of this vote, Justin Sun posted a coconut chicken emoji, triggering speculation within the community about the possibility of him releasing a manifesto or meme coin.
As early as May 11th, Justin Sun had expressed on X that he would actively invest in meme coins and promising projects, and pledged to donate all profits obtained from these investments to charitable organizations. At that time, he also emphasized that these meme coin investments do not constitute financial advice and cannot guarantee listing on any exchange, including Huobi and Poloniex owned by him, as the transactions are public and the on-chain addresses can be traced.
Now, with the meme coin vote initiated by himself, if the token is indeed issued after the vote is passed, it inevitably raises doubts about whether this new meme coin will be listed on his affiliated exchange.
