The Sandbox, an immersive metaverse game, is collaborating with Dapper Labs to host its first-ever Game Jam. The registration for this Game Jam is open from April 8 to 19 for anyone interested in game development, regardless of age.
Winning Rewards: From Generous Prizes to Global Exposure
The Sandbox’s first Taiwan Game Jam has kicked off, and all participating teams will need to design a game on-site based on the given theme during the Game Jam on May 25-26. The winning teams will have the opportunity to publish their creations on The Sandbox platform. This two-day event will bring together game creators from around the world to showcase their skills in the metaverse.
In addition, the winning teams will have the chance to exhibit their works at the Asia Blockchain Summit in August, gaining the attention of thousands of attendees. Furthermore, outstanding teams may receive incubation and investment opportunities provided by TempoX. The winning teams will also receive promotion and exposure through The Sandbox and BlockTempo’s community platforms, as well as other media and PR platforms.

The registration for this Game Jam is open from April 8 to 19 for anyone interested in game development, regardless of age. You can choose to participate individually or form a team of up to four people. The only requirement is that you must participate in the two-day Game Jam held in Taipei.
This is an open opportunity for all game enthusiasts, regardless of their level of game development experience. As long as you are passionate about it, you can come and challenge yourself.
Prize Pool Information
Participants will have the chance to win from a prize pool of 30,000 $SAND and land, with the opportunity to showcase their works on The Sandbox map and at offline events.
First Place: 7,000 $SAND + 1×1 LAND
Second Place: 4,000 $SAND – 1×1 LAND
Third Place: 2,000 $SAND – 1×1 LAND
️ Fourth to Tenth Place: 1,000 $SAND each
Additionally, the first 25 creators to self-publish their Game Jam gaming experiences will receive a reward of 400 $SAND. The Game Jam introduction AMA will be held on April 19, and all participating teams can join to learn more about the competition details and the designated game genre. You will have the opportunity to ask us any questions you may have, and the complete theme will be revealed to all participating teams on the day of the competition.
