Japanese Game Company gumi Announces Shareholder Benefits Program
On March 26, Japanese game company gumi announced that it will launch a shareholder benefits program. Shareholders who hold at least 500 shares of the company by the end of April 2025 will have the opportunity to receive Bitcoin rewards, with the total reward amount reaching 16 million yen (approximately 3.52 million New Taiwan dollars).

Details of gumi’s Bitcoin Benefits for Shareholders
According to the press release, the detailed distribution method for the rewards is as follows:
- Total reward amount is 16 million yen;
- 30 people will be selected to receive Bitcoin worth 100,000 yen;
- 100 people will be selected to receive Bitcoin worth 30,000 yen;
- 10,000 people will be selected to receive Bitcoin worth 10,000 yen.
Conditions and Important Notes for Participation in the Lottery
gumi stated that to qualify for the lottery, shareholders must hold at least 500 shares of the company before the end of April 2025. For this event, gumi is collaborating with SBI VC Trade, an exchange under SBI Holdings, the company’s largest shareholder. Key notes include:
- Rewards will be distributed at the end of August, and the final amount of Bitcoin will be determined based on the trading price of Bitcoin on SBI VC Trade as of 23:59 on August 15, 2025;
- Shareholders who meet the requirements will receive a URL and password for the relevant website after mid-June 2025;
- Must own or open an account with SBI VC Trade by July 31, 2025, as the Bitcoin will ultimately be sent to the winners’ SBI VC Trade accounts;
- Participants must register through the designated website by July 21, 2025.
