Brave Wallet Integrates Cardano: Balancing Privacy and Functionality
According to the announcement, this integration will bring complete support for Cardano to the Brave wallet, including management of Cardano native assets, as well as functions such as sending, receiving, exchanging, and signing, all natively embedded within Brave’s browser wallet.
Through this integration, Brave users and the broader Cardano community will be able to directly access the Cardano blockchain within the Brave wallet to engage in activities such as governance participation and management of native assets:
This significant milestone further enhances Brave’s multi-chain capabilities, adding Cardano to its existing support for networks like Ethereum and Solana. Cardano users can now manage native assets such as NIGHT through the built-in wallet of the Brave browser, participate in governance, and conduct token exchanges in a secure and private manner. This not only enhances the utility of the Brave wallet but also provides the Cardano community with a more convenient channel for participation.
In response, IO CEO Charles Hoskinson commented: “The partnership with Brave is a match made in heaven. Together we share a vision for a safer, more accessible, and user-respecting Web3. Bringing Cardano into the Brave wallet expands functionality for Cardano users in the era of on-chain governance and sets a new standard for how blockchain networks can empower individuals, achieving proactive on-chain participation while protecting privacy.”
