Bitget, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 company, announced the launch of the Blockchain4Her (B4H) Ambassador Program, focusing on enhancing, empowering, educating, and embracing women in the blockchain field. The program aims to ensure equal opportunities and representation for women in this transformative industry and encourage more people to join.

According to previous research by Bitget, there is a significant gender gap in women’s public participation and access to funding, with limited opportunities. Therefore, Bitget initiated the B4H Ambassador Program to bridge this gap by welcoming outstanding female leaders. They will serve as role models, builders, supporters, and mentors, enhancing the abilities of the new generation of female talents and leaders through their guidance, assistance, and expertise.

Currently, the B4H Ambassador Program has attracted three outstanding women: Tess Hau, founder of Tess Ventures; Yevheniia Broshevan, co-founder of Hacken; and Cecilia Hsueh, CEO of Layer2 ecological project Morph. The program covers a range of special projects and activities to cultivate capable female leaders and create a supportive and inclusive environment. Bitget’s B4H Ambassador Program will elevate the status of women in the Web3 field through various means, including:

1. Setting examples: The program will showcase the different journeys of its image ambassadors through inspirational stories. This strategy aims to humanize the paths to success in various fields, making them more relatable and inspiring for women to delve into the opportunities in Web3 and make progress through interactions with industry pioneers.

2. Building social connections: Events and gatherings will be the second avenue to enhance capabilities, providing ambassadors with vibrant platforms to share their expertise at regional and international conferences. Regular activities will increase the visibility of key figures in the Web3 industry, expanding their professional networks and creating more opportunities for women seeking professional development.

3. Substantial participation: Ambassadors play a crucial role in the B4H program, contributing their expertise and resources to various projects and activities, providing support for women and creating an environment for nurturing female talents.

4. Targeted support: Comprehensive support and training are key to driving blockchain applications. Bitget is committed to the continuous development of its ambassadors, providing them with necessary training and support, including opportunities to collaborate with leadership teams and industry professionals, ensuring that ambassadors are well-prepared to make significant contributions to the community and personal growth.

Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, said, “In almost every industry, women are the most underutilized talent resource in the global economy. By providing opportunities for women to join and develop in the industry, Bitget promotes their participation in the blockchain field.”

Bitget has participated in various corporate social responsibility programs, particularly initiating Blockchain4Youth and Blockchain4Her, with each project receiving a $10 million support. The latter is dedicated to improving gender diversity and inclusivity in the blockchain industry.
