JPEX Taiwan spokesperson Chen Ling Jiu is in a good mood! Today, Taiwanese media revealed that Chen Ling Jiu has emerged from the shadow of JPEX and has started a passionate romance with Miusa, the daughter of Wu Chung-hsien. This has caused anger among the JPEX victim community, who criticized him for enjoying himself while they are dealing with debt.
As the spokesperson for JPEX in Taiwan, Chen Ling Jiu (real name Chen Zhi Hao) not only has a successful career in the entertainment industry but also has a deep understanding of cryptocurrency. He previously founded the NFT community Yolocat and collaborated with fellow enthusiasts to explore various fields. However, after being involved in the JPEX fraud scandal, he publicly stated that he was considering staying away from cryptocurrency.
Today, Taiwanese media reported that Chen Ling Jiu seems to have moved on from the JPEX incident and has begun a relationship with Miusa, the daughter of Wu Chung-hsien. On March 1st, reporters captured them returning to Chen Ling Jiu’s residence together, where they spent a joyful time together for 17 hours and 48 minutes. It is worth mentioning that this location was also the sweet space where Chen Ling Jiu and his ex-girlfriend Lin Zhi Ying (Huhu) once lived together.
Wu Chung-hsien, who considers Miusa as his fourth daughter, first portrayed himself as an open-minded father. He stated that he would not interfere in the affairs of young people and mentioned that Miusa had previously reported to him about her music collaboration with Chen Ling Jiu, indicating that he is aware of her progress in her “career.” However, when asked if it was a musical collaboration or a romantic relationship, Wu Chung-hsien sarcastically responded later, saying, “Impressive! Go ahead and ruin yourself.”
In fact, due to the JPEX incident, Chen Ling Jiu was previously summoned by the Investigation Bureau as a witness. At that time, he claimed that the whole thing was arranged by Liu Bo-liang, a manager from Rolling Stone Records, and he was only responsible for endorsement. He also stated that he himself was a victim, losing 15% of his assets.
However, many victims in Taiwan have expressed that they invested in JPEX because they believed in Chen Ling Jiu’s endorsement and suffered heavy losses. These victims filed a complaint against Chen Ling Jiu last week, accusing him of violating the “Banking Act” and other crimes. As a result, Chen Ling Jiu’s status was changed from a witness to a defendant in the “investigation case,” making him the first artist in Taiwan to be listed as a defendant.
According to Hong Kong media reports, as of February 20th, 70 individuals involved in the JPEX case have been arrested, and the amount involved has exceeded HKD 1.61 billion. The police pointed out that the investigation is still ongoing, and there is a possibility of more arrests. The Criminal Division is actively following up on the progress of the investigation and will continue to communicate with the individuals involved.
Upon seeing this news, many Hong Kong and Taiwanese communities expressed their anger towards Chen Ling Jiu. They complained on various platforms that while the victims are still struggling to collect debts, spokesperson Chen Ling Jiu is enjoying himself with his new love interest.
