BitMart Exchange announced that its Contract V2.0 system has officially launched, aiming to provide users with more stable and efficient contract trading services.
As a next-generation contract trading system of BitMart, Contract V2.0 not only includes numerous performance updates and improvements but also strives to provide users with more stable and efficient contract trading services. During the transition period, Contract V1.0 and V2.0 systems will operate concurrently for a period of time. In the future, the V1.0 system will be taken offline, please refer to the platform announcement for specific details.
The technical core of BitMart’s Contract V2.0 system has been comprehensively optimized, and the system performance has been significantly improved. Compared to the Contract V1.0 system, trading latency has been reduced by at least 50%. At the same time, by improving performance, the new system further optimizes the trading efficiency of liquidity providers, thereby greatly improving overall trading liquidity.
It is worth mentioning that the technical upgrade of BitMart’s Contract V2.0 system has brought significant improvements: the core matching capability has increased by 50 times, greatly enhancing trading efficiency; at the same time, the query performance of the system has significantly improved, with order and data queries being 5 times faster than the Contract V1.0 system. In addition, the overall stability of the new system has also been significantly enhanced, providing users with a more reliable and efficient trading environment.
Considering that the V1.0 system will be taken offline in the future, users are advised to gradually transfer their assets to the Contract V2.0 system for trading.
After switching to the Contract V2.0 system, users can click on “Transfer” on the trading page or asset page to choose to transfer assets from the Contract V1.0 to the Spot account, and then transfer them to the Contract V2.0 account. There is no direct transfer between the Contract V1.0 account and the Contract V2.0 account. During the period of concurrent operation of Contract V1.0 and V2.0, the V2.0 system will temporarily not support the copy trading function, and users need to use the V1.0 system for single and copy trading operations. The copy trading function will be synchronized to the V2.0 system when the V1.0 system is taken offline. At the same time, the V2.0 system temporarily does not support the Open API function, and the specific opening time will be notified separately by the platform.
Please note that BitMart’s contract services are not available to users in the following countries: Afghanistan, the United States, Hong Kong SAR of China, the Balkans, Belarus, Belgium, Myanmar, Côte d’Ivoire, Crimea, Cuba, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, South Sudan, the Arab Republic of Syria, Zimbabwe, mainland China, the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR), or the Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR).
