Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in an interview on Monday that if Trump loses to Biden, he would be “screwed.” Besides the possibility of being thrown into jail, the X platform could also go bankrupt.

With 26 days left until the 2024 US presidential election, Tesla CEO and X platform owner Elon Musk has recently shown full support for Trump.
During an exclusive interview with Tucker Carlson, a prominent conservative political commentator and Trump supporter on the X platform, Musk stated that if Trump loses to Democratic candidate Hillary, he would likely be thrown into jail.
He claimed that if Hillary wins, her government could potentially prosecute him personally and the X platform, especially if the Democratic Party abolishes Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (which provides protection for internet platforms from content created by third parties, such as social media users’ posts), which would “immediately bankrupt X.”
Musk: If Trump loses, the US could fall into a “one-party dictatorship”
He also explained why he is “all in” to support Trump in this election, stating that he is concerned that if Trump loses, it would be the “last presidential election” held in the US.
Musk explained that he holds this view because he is worried that the Democratic government of Biden-Hillary will continuously “import” millions of immigrants and grant them citizenship and voting rights, ensuring a continuous stream of votes, and there will no longer be any “swing states” in the US.
To support his stance, Musk cited the famous 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act, which granted amnesty to millions of undocumented immigrants and provided them a path to legal citizenship.
Musk appears at Pennsylvania rally to boost Trump’s campaign
Musk’s “all in” support is not just talk. He recently appeared at Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania, actively rallying for Trump and advocating for people to vote to defend freedom of speech and fair elections. This is also his second appearance at Trump’s rally since publicly siding with Trump on social media in July.
“President Trump must win to protect the Constitution! Register to vote immediately and urge everyone you know to vote! Send them a text message right now! Nothing is more important than this!” He encouraged the crowd to chant, “Fight, fight, fight! Vote, vote, vote!”
In addition, on the 7th, Musk launched an online petition and spent money to seek support from Trump supporters in swing states. If people recommend a voter from a swing state to sign a statement, they can receive a reward of $47 (approximately NT$1,500).
In this election, Musk has donated millions of dollars to super PACs that support Trump’s campaign, making him the strongest campaigner. Trump praised Musk at the Pennsylvania rally, saying that Musk founded an American car company, Tesla, and through X, saved “freedom of speech.” Trump also promised to appoint Musk as the leader of the Government Efficiency Commission if he successfully returns to the White House.
