The annual Ethereum ecosystem event, ETHTaipei 2025, is set to take place in April in Taipei. This year marks the first collaboration with ETHGlobal, creating a dual-format event comprising two days of conferences and three days of hackathons. ETHTaipei 2025 will grandly commence on April 1 and 2, 2025, at the POPOP Taipei venue in Nangang. As the third iteration of ETHTaipei, this year’s event is held in partnership with the internationally renowned hackathon organizer ETHGlobal, featuring a two-day conference and a three-day hackathon.
A highlight of the event is the long-awaited participation of Vitalik Buterin, who will attend the two-day conference to engage face-to-face with Taiwanese developers, promising countless surprises.
The conference will focus on cutting-edge Ethereum technology, gathering global speakers in Taipei. The official ETHTaipei 2025 conference will last for two days, on April 1 and April 2. A number of heavyweight speakers have been invited, with Vitalik Buterin being the most anticipated, as he will deliver a keynote speech and participate in several panel discussions, sharing his insights on the latest technological developments in the Ethereum ecosystem.
Although Vitalik has kept his speech topic under wraps, only revealing that “it will be a surprise,” the industry is already abuzz with high expectations.
The agenda will be divided into two main tracks: “Decentralized Finance (DeFi)” and “Protocol Technology.” Over 40 experts from renowned international teams, including the Ethereum Foundation, Arbitrum, Zircuit, Uniswap, and Polygon, will provide in-depth insights on diverse topics covering Real World Assets (RWA), information security, blockchain privacy, AA Wallet (smart contract wallets), Zero-Knowledge (ZK), MEV, and Layer 2 expansion solutions.
Additionally, multiple technical workshops will be arranged for hands-on practice, allowing participants to learn Ethereum blockchain technology from scratch and engage in creating their own innovative projects. Collaborating with ETHGlobal for the hackathon, the scale and impact will be doubled. To further enhance international participation, ETHTaipei is partnering with the well-known Ethereum ecosystem event team, ETHGlobal. The ETHGlobal Taipei hackathon will immediately follow the ETHTaipei conference, taking place from April 4 to 6 at the same venue (POPOP Taipei).
