ETH Surges Past $4600 Early This Morning, Closing In on All-Time High
Ethereum’s momentum continues as it reached over $4,640 early this morning (13th), with less than 5% remaining to its historical peak. In contrast, Bitcoin remains volatile around $119,000, indicating a rotation of capital.
The sustained price increase has elevated ETH’s market capitalization to the 25th largest globally, surpassing both Netflix and Mastercard.
Is the Altcoin Season Here?
Aside from Ethereum, other top ten tokens also experienced notable gains. SOL surged nearly 10% in the past 24 hours, while ADA saw an increase of 7%.
Bitcoin’s market dominance (BTC.D) dropped below 60% again yesterday, currently reported at 59.63%, marking a new low since mid-January of this year. Historically, when Bitcoin’s price fluctuates at high levels, altcoins tend to experience a rally. However, if BTC begins to correct, other tokens usually face sharper declines, so investors should remain vigilant about risks.
